Blanking the page because a small part of it has copy vio issues is unacceptable
Verbal, you're going too far. You have been using admin powers to push your POV concerning outlines. You need to restrict your use of admin powers in areas where you are not emotionally involved. Your use of admin powers on outlines now constitutes a conflict of interest.
If the lead of a page is in copyvio, it doesn't warrant blanking the whole page. Please explain your actions.

- THe instructions for the template do say "This template will automatically blank all content that follows it. If only a part of the page is a violation and you wish to limit blanking to that portion, place this template above the section to be blanked and add </div> to the end of the infringing portion" The template can be limited to only a portion of the article. - I assumed that only an admin could place the tag since only an admin can take it off, and because it blanks the page. That's a pretty potent tag. It's a page nuke. Verbal shouldn't be going around nuking outlines. The Transhumanist 21:32, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Quick explanation of Wikipedia outlines
"Outline" is short for "hierarchical outline". There are two types of outlines: sentence outlines (like those you made in school to plan a paper), and topic outlines (like the topical synopses that professors hand out at the beginning of a college course). Outlines on Wikipedia are primarily topic outlines that serve 2 main purposes: they provide taxonomical classification of subjects showing what topics belong to a subject and how they are related to each other (via their placement in the tree structure), and as subject-based tables of contents linked to topics in the encyclopedia.
