Talk:Opposite ring

In the definition of field in wikipedia, the multiplication is always commutative. Thus the claim "The opposite ring of a field is a field" is trivial after saying that "A ring is commutative if and only if its operation coincides with its opposite operation" In the cited "Bourbaki 1989, p. 114" it does make sense because Bourbaki also speaks of "commutative field". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.136.67.75 (talk) 16:32, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
