NDA winning the popular vote with no data?

The article currently[1] mentions the India TV-CNX poll under "vote share" and highlights NDA while the data from that row is conspicuously absent. I could not find mention in the cited sources, so I'd propose deleting that row for that section

Opinion polls - Assumptions

In small states/UTs like Andaman & Nicobar, Ladakh, Puducherry, and virtually every northeastern state other than Assam, the numbers for opinion polls have not been given separately and instead bundled up in a region (Northeast, South, North etc.). Due to the lack of data in small states, some editors have just assumed who may win or chose their favourite party to win and put it as such here. What do we do here Dhruv edits? Please do not revert fixes I have made that solve the referencing errors you've been causing. You've done so more than three times in the last 24 hours.
Many articles transclude content in sections from this article. Since the transclusion is limited to a single section, each section must stand on its own. If some section uses a reference definition that's not self-contained, the referencing article will end up with unreferenced material and referencing errors. It is necessary to repeat reference definitions in each section, since the wiki code will eventually stand on its own when transcluded. While this is tedious and not ideal, it's the right solution. Significantly unreferenced

This article reports dozens of opinion poll results without providing references. Is there a plan to make this information readily verifiable? Otherwise, I think it should be removed. -- Mikeblas (talk) 15:21, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have begun adding {{fact}} tags to the unreferenced polling numbers presented in this article. I had hoped the editors who had placed the statistics would come forward to reveal their sources, but my hope is waining. Material like this must be verifiable, and the taggings will let readers know that that claims this topic makes have not been verified. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:15, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nitro Absynthe thanks for adding those references, things are looking better! The sources you've added don't seem to include a margin of error for the reported numbers, but this article has margins of error for every one of races. Where did these margins of error come from? They're a bit odd -- I guess the percentage gives a range for the number of seats to be won or lost, but that seems a strange way to record the information. @Mikeblas Sources for margins of error are available for most of them- ABP News- CVoter,[1][2] India Today- CVoter,[3][4] Mathrubhumi-PMARQ,[5] News18,[6] Times Now-ETG,[7][8][9] Zee News-Matrize.[10] India TV-CNX and Eedina didn't mention margin of error in its methodology, so the figures mentioned in the article might be incorrect.[11][12] I can add these if required.
