'Personal success'
Russell's personal success with Otto von Bismarck led to his appointment as ambassador at Berlin in October 1871.
- What personal success? Bismarck isn't mentioned prior to this statement. Presumably it's an allusion to a congenial official or political relationship with the Iron Chancellor, but we don't know. Suggest this phrase be deleted as confusing. – Sca (talk) 21:14, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
