Can we add Odell Beckham Jr. to this page?

Odell Beckham Jr. is frequently referred to in the media as OBJ[1][2] and his Twitter handle is @OBJ[3]. Various users keep adding Odell Beckham Jr to this page only to have their changes reverted. How can we resolve this? Itsme92 (talk) 03:11, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The best way to resolve this is to add OBJ to Odell Beckham Jr. with a reference that shows the acronym is commonly used. Then it would be appropriate to list it on OBJ. Leschnei (talk) 14:03, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. OBJ as a nickname is now referenced and cited in the first line of Odell Beckham Jr. so sounds like it's a legitimate line item to include in this disambiguation page Itsme92 (talk) 19:09, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

IP editor 74.101.252.37 has been repeatedly insisting OBJ is not a nickname for Odell Beckham Jr. The discussion above and a sourced claim in the target article says it is.

The edits are identical in content and use the same stilted language in the edit summary and Subway NYC64's edits here last year. Subway NYC64 is indefinitely blocked as a sock of Koov.

I have requested a block for the IP address as block evasion. If necessary, we can edit protect the article and take further steps as needed. Any editor can revert the sock's edits (here or anywhere) without further explanation, per WP:EVADE. - SummerPhDv2.0 16:58, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Permanently Protect this Article now

I’m certain that the banned user Koov will definitely try to remove the article about Odell Beckham Jr. So I urge all of the Wikipedia Administrators here to restrict editing this article to registered users only. So if you can please permanently protect this article now. Any Wikipedia administrators should do it so that Koov can never ever remove that article about Odell Beckham Jr again ever.
