The citations for this entire article are amazingly weak

Here's a list of the sources cited:

  1. a b c Nesting Instinct by Pregnancy Weekly
  2. Nesting Instinct in Pregnancy, womenshealthcaretopics.com
  3. A Need to Nest, By Deborah Skolnik, parents.com
  4. Nesting, pregnancy-info.net
  5. 10 Things That Might Surprise You About Being Pregnant, kidshealth.org
  6. Nesting Instinct - WikiParenting

Note that having websites sited is weak only because we must presuppose that the articles and authors involved are not professionally moderated.

Awful

The "In humans" section reads like it was written by a high school student. How does garbage like this wind up on here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.132.42.130 (talk) 04:08, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey!

I noticed a few things: let's begin with the introductory paragraph. It's very short. It could definitely use more detail to capture the readers attention, make sure there's enough information in this section to give the reader an idea of what the article is about. Also, there isn't much detail on why the newborns need this nesting instinct. What it provides for the offspring, how it changes the parents (hormonal or physical), and how males react to their pregnant partner are some ideas to expand on.

The number of examples are good (animals, insects, etc) they just need some more information in each, which I'm sure you already know.
