Recreation

Aaaaand... I just realized that the article I spent several hours writing had in fact already been deleted. Incredibly stupid of me. However, I think that this article should stay, because there is currently no character information on the list of characters page, and as this is the main character of a popular show, I think it definitely warrants its own article.

I realize this has already been discussed, but I'll leave it up for now unless someone decides otherwise. One of the issues with the previous article seems to be length, so I'll see if I can make this article much shorter so that it's not so bloated and fan-site-ish. Nice work! It seems this article is now heading in a better direction than it once was. -- Ned Scott (talk) 07:56, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chuck Article

Chuck is almost as interesting as Ned, and her article could be just as good as this one, if not better. Seriously, I think that she, and Emerson, should both have articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 17:15, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We've all tried to create articles for all of the characters, but they kept getting deleted. I don't remember why though. Probably because there wasn't enough "real-world" info about them or something. - Jasonbres (talk) 18:39, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

By Season Two there probably will be enough info, though. Does Wikipedia delete them, or do people with accounts? Someone deleted my information on this article, about how Ned and Chuck kiss each other using plastic wrap and how they often hold their own hands, pretending they're holding each others. I think this information is valid. Isn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 00:25, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

People with accounts delete them. Don't ask how 'cause I don't know. Maybe this will help explain everything. - Jasonbres (talk) 01:29, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's ridiculous. I just made an account but can't figure out how to delete anything, so I'm confused. I mean, not all the characters should have articles, like Digby and the Narrator you could skip. But Chuck, Emerson, Olive and the aunts all deserve an article. Some show from the sixties that got canceled after 3 episodes has articles for all it's characters. Three episodes. This series has triple that, and it has only one character article, and whenever I try to add valid information to it, my addition gets deleted within the hour. It really sucks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 23:04, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right now, these characters aren't notable enough for their own articles (see Wikipedia:Notability for details). If you want to add information about them to Wikipedia, you can do it at List of characters in Pushing Daisies. Mr. Absurd (talk) 23:35, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess you're right. Whatever. At least give Chuck and article. She's second billed, and there's way more to say about her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 20:51, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Addition

I added this, and it might need to be spruced up a tiny bit, but not removed. I'm posting it here in case it get's removed. It's valid information, and should stay in the article.

"Ned and Chuck find other ways to express affection, however. In the episode "Dummy" they kiss each other while encased in body bags, and later, in a now popular scene, Chuck kisses him by holding a sheet of plastic wrap between their lips. Ned installed a glass window with a rubber glove in his car so she could sit next to him and hold his hand (although he insists that it is for "driving emergencies"). Also, in the episode "Pigeon", Chuck holds another man's hand, pretending she is holding Ned's. Ironically, it is revealed that the hand she was holding was prosthetic."

Is that not valid information. It's true, and could add much needed information to the out-dated Current Life section. Am I right?

A few points. First, please sign your post using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. Second, you don't need to post that info here, because even if it's deleted it will be accesible in the page history, which you can see by clicking on the "history" tab on the main article page (clicking the "history" tab on this page will take you this talk page's history). Thanks for your contribution! Mr. Absurd (talk) 05:24, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Shiny Shoes Killer

I was reading this page back when it was first made, and I came across references to a "Shiny Shoes Killer". I have the first season on DVD, and I have not come across a "Shiny Shoes Killer". Was this character, perhaps, renamed for the DVD release? Is it a reference to a serial killer from another series? I'm just curious. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 04:17, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Shiny Shoes Killer was the man who killed Chuck in the first episode HarlandQPitt (talk) 00:58, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see. Sorry, the killer was not adressed as such in the pilot, so I didn't know. Thanks, it makes sense now.

Surname

What is Ned's surname? Is it given (?), because I don't remember hearing it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 23:04, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
