Quarter finalists means advancing no further than the QFs (not making the semis). Semi final losers contest a third/fourth place match. Cvene64 10:28, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

why are there so few teams challenging the RWC?

compared to the soccer world cup or some. why some countries like Germany, Russia, Eastern Europe and Africa countries are not involved? Shame On You 07:31, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Germany has a rugby team??? Seriously, weaker rugby nations are given the opportunity to take part if they qualify. For instance, Japan and Georgia are the two most recent qualifiers. There are two more slots for qualifiers which will be decided amongst the following: Repechage 1: Portugal/Uruguay/Morocco Repechage 2: Tonga/Korea

Where is the overall Rugby World Cup Record?

As in Total Games Played, Won, Drawn and Lost? Teams Ranked By Winning %? This would seem to be a quite important statistic - I can't do it at the moment - but if someone happens to see this and wants some work - get to it.58.175.240.247 08:26, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
