Why are there no "talk" comments to this article? ... none!

Why are there no "talk" comments to this article? I see none! I've not seen this anywhere else on Wikipedia. I always look to "talk" comments and "history" edits to look for support or detraction from the information contained in articles. It's my first go-to resource on the credibility of what I am reading. WithGLEE (talk) 14:18, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Suggested edits/additions to the NIST wikipedia page

I suggest edits to the NIST page based on the focus areas of NIST and its importance as a physical sciences laboratory under DOC. In the introduction section, rather than just mentioning NIST as a "measurement standards laboratory" as indicated now; I suggest it to be referred as a physical sciences laboratory (https://www.nist.gov/about-nist).

It does much more than just metrology since it was renamed to NIST from NBS. A look at the ongoing research tells that that most of the well-known work from NIST in the areas of cybersecurity and a lot more are not related to just measurement standards. Check out the research areas here https://www.nist.gov/topics, they range from nanotechnology to forensic science, from fire research to quantum mechanics and much more. The topics mentioned in the page are outdated and is a small subset of what NIST does and I suggest adding these research areas.
