Article Mischaracterizes the Organization

There are many organizations around these days that have non-profit, non-partisan status; but serve as fronts for a specific political agenda. The article at link below provides a more accurate description of the organization.

“Responsible fatherhood” is a promotional phrase for programs that create a sort of new Orwellian federalism, but that have the traditional dystopian goal of bleeding enormous amounts of money from taxpayers and the programs’ subjects. The National Fatherhood Initiative, started by Republican Party insiders, promotes the agenda.

You are not alone in this perspective. Could you cite others having this view? Here's something that I stumbled on a few hours ago that you might find helpful: I was googling around for David Blankenhorn, and he came up in this book that Amazon Reader let me see chunks of...
...and the first instance of David Blankenhorn's name is on page 27, in a sentence opening a new paragraph: "David Blankenhorn, who is also a cofounder of the NFI, founded the pro-marriage Institute for American Values in 1987."
Moreover, as I'm writing this, there is no entry for the Institute for American Values and I would appreciate anyone making at least a stub for it, at least pointing back to the entry "David Blankenhorn". --Sean M. Burke (talk) 12:54, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Father Facts and indeed the NFI have an agenda, which is to blame dads who are discontent with being forced to subsidize the destruction of their families and kidnaping of their children without cause.
