Wasn't this title a revival?
I thought this championship was a revival of the WCW belts that were deactivated in 1992. What reference is there for a new championship introduced with this? DAndrewC (talk) 01:07, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Seconded. Why do we have a new article when this is a reactivation of the old US Tag Team Titles? It's the same NWA brand with the same lineage, so why are we making a distinction between the old titles and these? SkylerLovefist (talk) 03:32, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- While I basically agree with the above sentiments, this creates the problem of deciding which versions of the championship should be consolidated. Do we include the lineage of the version from 2014 to 2017, or do we ignore that because some feel it was rebranded as, not replaced with, the Innovate Pro Wrestling US Tag Team Championship? How about the New Jersey version? Do we count all the Mid-Atlantic/WCW reigns, or just Mid-Atlantic? What about all the earlier versions, several of which overlapped? And can somebody bring me a mop for the HUGE can of worms I just opened? Oh, and some popcorn. Morogth (talk) 12:47, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
