Issues
As of 10 December 2019, this page is a mess. It is full of scientific errors (among the most egregious being the claim that the constellation of Cancer lies 250 Mly from Earth), and even the sentences that are correct are often awkwardly constructed and poorly arranged. It pretty desperately needs the assistance of someone who is familiar with the subject matter. 113.35.73.37 (talk) 07:49, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- Strongly agree. I have removed a few of the ones I found most irritating, but there are several more examples of bad writing and sometimes outright error. Jmacwiki (talk) 05:25, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Quick note that the constellation does not lie at the said distance, but the galaxy itself lies there. Jackarrrr (talk) 16:04, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
Updating Article
I've seen in the past that this article has been poorly written, and as of March 1st, 2024, it still is.
Quick note that I will be fixing lots of these errors and mistakes and make it a cleaner, and more scientifically accurate read.
