2008 Independents that are joining NAC
The NAC football announcement press release prior to the 2007 season specifically states "Five of the six institutions are playing an independent schedule this season (2007) and next (2008), with Norwich competing in the Empire 8, until all six institutions come together in 2009", so these schools are independent in football for the 2008 season. --Gwguffey (talk) 18:54, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
