Potential Edit

Current Text regarding the Malice at the Palace and a Christmas day pacers Pistons matchup: "Such a pairing was simply bad luck: the regular season was scheduled before the brawl took place.[30] Nonetheless, the potential melee seemed unseemly during the holiday that proclaims "Peace on earth, good will towards all." Fortunately, the fans and players at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indiana were well-behaved (unlike the fans at the Palace of Auburn Hills the month before), and the Christmas spirit reigned.

Specific proposed change: "unlike the fans at " to "unlike some fans and players at..."

Reason for change: The Malice at the Palace involved both fans and players. It is unfair to characterize that event as an instance where all the fans misbehaved and the players were mere victims.
