About the title

@Cold Season: Can you explain the reason why you change the old title instead to make this new title into a redirect page? Instead of "mends" or "patching", I believe "repair" is more neutral and common to use for the English translation of this topic. So far, I think the old title doesn't need to be changed except if we use the word "repair". Okkisafire (talk) 14:04, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The old title used "patching", which I think isn't that great. I get a lot more hits with the search term "nuwa mends" versus "nuwa repairs" or "nuwa patches" in google books. --Cold Season (talk) 13:48, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, let say this "unfit" translation is happened because of the different point of views between Chinese and Westerner poets. I believe we have two options here: first is using "mend" instead, which is "a lot more hits" in google books; and second is using "patching" which I believe is a more precise translation than "mend", because Nuwa used some "materials" to patched the sky and she didn't just mend it out of nothing (and the legend said that her works was imperfect and the sky was colorful since then). Or maybe I've wrong definitions about patch and mend lol. Okkisafire (talk) 12:50, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
