I have removed the image image:Muti.jpg

  • It is the subject of a copyvio tag
  • The authenticity of the image is unverified. I suspect it was lifted from stopboergenocide.com, which is not an authoritative or verified source

The Aspect of Albinism

Afaik in some parts of Africa especially humans (mostly children or youth) who are suffering from albinism are the victims of crimes connected to muti (or Voodoo, Juju etc.) Because their bodyparts are regarded as something special and with strong magic power. They musician Salif Keita from Westernafrica Mali (being an albino himself) is very active in fighting those crimes.
