i was asking about "municipal waste" but the encyclopedia show me about the rock/punk band. i still don't get the information that i need. thank you.

Funny. I was looking for info on the band. I had seen wikipedia before. I am a researcher and have seen the name around. I took it as a trusted source as it hasnt let me down yet. There isn't much info on the net about the band. They don't seem to have a homepage. The description looks good from what I know.

Importance

This band should be here. They are rising quickly within the metal underground and areleading a resurgance in the thrash/crossover genre. As funny and filled with the errors this article is, it captures what the band is about pretty well. I'm going to take some time this weekend to expand it and clean it up. They have released numerous splits and have two albums out. The newest one is their Earache debut. I think that lends weight to their importance. --Aboverepine 16:23, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

concur - they're one of the better known exponents of this subgenre. to illustrate the point, they, and related projects, are mentioned in a prominent metal magazine that i just happened to pick up today. i've seen articles on more obscure bands here. Concur with the above -- Although I think you should include what magazine, and issue which mentions Municipal Waste. --Pkmugg 21:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter how important the band actually is if the article itself does not make any claims to importance (most of the stuff in the lead could be said about any band anywhere). I've changed {{speedy}} to {{importance}} for now. Please see WP:MUSIC for the guidelines about what belongs in the lead to distinguish this band from all the others we don't include. — Laura Scudder 00:34, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Municipal Waste - it's actually waste. :-)

This article needs disambiguation and obviously that infers creation of an article on 'municipal waste' rather than this band. Supposed 07:55, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Crossover Thrash

Is crossover thrash different from usual thrash? As of now, the crossover thrash link in the article redirects to punk metal. Weltanschaunng (talk) 13:19, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: I have changed the hat at Municipal solid waste from:
to
and rehashed a disambiguation of sorts at Municipal Waste.
I still favour a move from or a redirect to Municipal solid waste
Gregkaye 04:53, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I changed to page to a redirect. I see no point in making it a disambiguation/article as it adds no information compared to municipal solid waste and people looking for the band can find a link there.--MASHAUNIX 20:43, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
