Potential merge

Having just "finished" the Mother series article, I'm looking at the character articles. While Ness has sources that are clearly out-of-universe in tone (especially re: Super Smash Bros.), Giygas is almost exclusively discussed in the context of the final boss battle (which is already covered in the game and series articles). Mr. Saturn is a bit more in a gray area. So they were used in promotional materials and even made some appearances in non-series media, but the result is a chain of disparate factoids and no substantial coverage about Mr. Saturn as a standalone figure outside the series. I think that anything that really needs to be said about Mr. Saturn (recurrence and item appearance in SSB) has already been covered in the series article, and thus this article could safely redirect there. Of course, an extra few facts about Mr. Saturn's use in promotional activity and outside the series could fit there too. But as a figure, Mr. Saturn would undoubtably be more prominent in Japan due to the series' popularity there, and jawp has no article on the little ones... Anyway, thoughts on a redirect to Mother (video game series)#Recurring elements? czar ♔ 17:59, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

In the absence of opposition, I'm boldly going ahead with this redirect as sufficiently covered in the rewritten target article's dedicated section czar ⨹ 02:15, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
