Mousey also played with Ray Alexander (vibist) for years during the 1960s and 70s, in a group called Alexanders The Great. It also featured the pianist Johnny Knapp. They played regularly at the Tomahawk Room and Ray Carle's Little Club (both in Roslyn, NY), the legendary Sonny's Place (Seaford, NY), the Half Note (NYC), and various festivals like The Nassau County Jazz Festival (Saturday, 8/24/74) with special guest "sideman" Zoot Sims. Mousey's son, Tracy, is a successful drummer in his own right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Therealex (talk • contribs) 13:20, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
