  • my mistake - I didn't see it had previously been incorrectly moved. This is a UK film which was released as Moment of Danger, amd released in some other territories as Malaga. I had to tweak this a little earlier, as the article opened with the rather painful "Malaga (also known in foreign countries as: Moment of Danger)"... Everywhere is foreign to someone else! This had the right title first time round before the redirect was placed on the wrong page, and it should go back to that correct title. – SchroCat (talk) 22:26, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Malaga appears to be the more common title for the topic in English language reliable sources:
374 Google Books results for <Malaga "Trevor Howard" -"moment of danger">vs. 24 Google Books results for <"Moment of Danger" "Trevor Howard" -Malaga>; and
302 Google Books results for <Malaga "Dorothy Dandridge" -"moment of danger"> vs. 35 Google Books results for <"Moment of Danger" "Dorothy Dandridge" -Malaga>
and so if we did not need the parenthetical disambiguator, Malaga would be the better title. Since we can't use "Malaga" alone, however, using its alternative title allows natural disambiguation.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 18:45, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Considering Google Books holds more US published books than British ones, it's hardly surprising the culturally arrogant and US-centric answer of the US-market title comes up trumps! COMMONNAME is not designed to trump the correct name of a British film in one of its lesser markets, regardless of how highly the US may think it's replacement titles. – SchroCat (talk) 20:46, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Malaga may be the WP:COMMONAME, but that guideline makes an exception for cases where usage differs in English speaking countries. The applicable guideline is WP:TITLEVAR, which states: "The title of an article on a topic that has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation should use the variety of English appropriate for that nation". Clearly British films should carry the British title, American films the American title, Australian films the Australian title and so forth. Betty Logan (talk) 21:33, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
