1581 expedition
This article's lead section mentions a 1581 expedition to Oman but there is no mention of this in the rest of the article. The lead section should follow the body of the article, because it is a summary overview of the whole article, and should not introduce extra information that is not explained elsewhere in the article. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:46, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Name variants
The article gives this person's name as Mir Ali Beg and also refers to him as Mir Ali Bey. One source that refers to him by the latter name is: Dejanirah Couto, Rui Loureiro (2008) Revisiting Hormuz: Portuguese Interactions in the Persian Gulf Region in the Early Modern Period pp:46-51. This source is cited in Ottoman–Portuguese conflicts (1586–1589). - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:12, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
