Cover illustration

We quote Silvey, "her favorite illustration fell in the center of the book - with the old man carrying cats against the rolling hills".

Probably the front cover art that we display is a version of that favorite illustration --a color version of the interior black-and-white, if i understand correctly. Does anyone know? --P64 (talk) 22:59, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

When I was in 1st grade, I starred as the "Old Man" and my classmate, Lynn Bologna, starred as the wife who wanted a cat, in our class play, "Millions of Cats." The rest of the kids in the class all played cats. This was 1963, at Connetquot Elementary School, Islip Terrace, New York. Reading this brought back a very good memory. 2603:8080:BD01:A6E9:5CCA:53A6:4A5D:E577 (talk) 23:43, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for Further Edits

Talk about the meaning/interpretations of Millions of Cats as in the moral of this story and why it is a relevant piece of literature. I would also further expand on Wanda Gag and who she is and more about the "double-page spread." This would help readers understand this book better. The topics of this article need to be elaborated upon. CEM1020 (talk) 17:37, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
