Some rumors to consider

  • Milford was home to the first manufacturing of differentiated left and right shoes.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Driscoll (talk) 00:39, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Milford was supposedly one of the countries largest "drug towns". however this is just a RUMOR that i have heard i can not find any studies or articles to back this up.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.62.64.204 (talk) 02:13, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
this is not just a rumor in the early 90's milford had the highest number of cocaine and heroin users per capita it was also on the list of the top five drug trafficking cities in the country—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.218.41.200 (talk) 06:16, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I happen to... have a connection to this town. (I'd rather not have any stalkers at my door, thank you very much.) And, I can confirm from anecdotes that I've heard from my teachers in school that Milford is, indeed, a crossroads of the drug trade. As a result, it was, to quote Han Solo, "a hive of scum and villainy" for quite some time, with drug dealers all over the place. However, some time before I was born, the police force was bolstered and purged of corruption, and the drug dealers have mostly been run out of town. --Luigifan (talk) 17:42, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa...

To be perfectly honest, I never suspected that my hometown would have a Wikipedia article. Honestly, there are some notable things about it, but it isn't a major city or anything. So, I'm actually a bit flattered to have my hometown recognized by one of my favorite websites. Cheers. --Luigifan (talk) 17:44, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! I'm a former Scarlet Hawk, too. Once you start digging, you'll find lots of interesting history in Milford! --Driscoll (talk) 00:24, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Population error?

Why does it say 55k for the population? That can't be right. On the side, it then says 25k.```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.67.169.249 (talk) 02:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
