Title

Why the hell is this called methoxyephedrine? It's not an ephedrine derivative. Ephedrine derivatives are beta-hydroxy methamphetamines. This is a beta-oxo-methamphetamine, ie: a methcathinone derivative. It's just para-methxoy-methcathinone. Methedrone is possibly the worst term that could ever be applied, people will confuse it with Methadone and mephedrone, two which are already confused with eachother.

not to be confused with....

Hi, I added a 'not to be confused with Mephedrone' as the spelling is so similar and this stuff sounds like the 'plant food' drug. I think it's important that people can access information on that awful bloody stuff and wouldn't want anyone reading the wrong article by mistake. Coolug (talk) 09:13, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This post is a mess. While I am more than happy that someone has taken the time to summarize the research on the compound, I get the feeling that their native language is not english.
