Anatomical Illustration

The illustration does not depict meningeal lymphatic vesicles, and it's unclear what saggital plane is being depicted. I propose that it be changed to this more detailed illustration in which meningeal vessels are actually depicted and labeled: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dural_venous_sinuses#/media/File:Sobo_1909_589.png, which is ironically one used by the article on dural venous sinuses - ironic because the current illustration used by the meningeal lymphatic vessel article only depicts sinuses. Focus of the Article

This article is HIGHLY focused on the Public relations aspect of the discovery of meningeal lymphatic vessels, and far too briefly on the science. The writer goes into detail on timelines and personal of the discovery, lists popular journalism citations (more than once! and over half the references in the article are not scientific journals), elaborates on how groundbreaking this discovery is (and how seminal it is considered to be, even though is it barely 3 years old) and goes into detail to paint a narrative of how heroic this research was. This writing feels unprofessional. When I looked up this article in order to properly understand meningeal lymphatics for research purposes, I found myself disappointed with the biased nature of it.

Your problem is that you don't understand what Wikipedia is. It is all-encompassing encyclopedia, and we cite many types of sources. If you are looking for a purely scientific description, buy a textbook. This covers the discovery, implications, and anything else relevant to this topic. I agree somewhat with OP here. At the very least, I think Background splits the "story" into a lot of parts for no particular reason. I'm going to take a crack at rearranging things to be more concise, but I expect that this page will need frequent revisions on a consistent basis as the story continues to evolve.
