Not cobblestones

The Pike Place Market area is brick paved, not cobblestone which is clear from images of the market. I'm hard pressed to think of any cobblestone in the Seattle area, in fact. There aren't many river rocks locally but there's plenty of clay e.g. Denny-Renton Clay and Coal Company (the world's largest source of brick pavers contemporaneous to the construction of the market, and probably the source of the brick). ☆ Bri (talk) 22:36, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Bri I'm just going off what the sources say, but I'm not opposed to removing mention of cobblestone if you feel strongly. The point I was trying to make was the business utilized nearby outdoor seating during the pandemic. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:52, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see, the original source said cobblestone erroneously as does the one I added today at the Post Alley article. Not sure what to do about this because it treads on WP:OR. ☆ Bri (talk) 01:03, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Bri If "cobblestone" is not a necessary detail, I'm fine changing the text to "'pop-up' patio outside the market". ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:41, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It might be better. Actual scholarly works about the market do mention the brick streets/brick pavers specifically e.g. [1][2]Bri (talk) 02:03, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
