Based on the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mariama Bawumia which closed as no consensus, I believe that the content on Mariama Bawumia would be best covered in the article on her husband Mumuni Bawumia. The article is essentially about her family life, and as such is directly relevant to that article. There doesn't appear to be anything notable about her other than her role as the wife and mother of two prominent politicians. Being an octogenarian is not unusual. I take the elaborate funerary ceremonial and the large number of cites to be an indication that Mariama Bawumia a) passes GNG b) was well known / connected in Ghana. This being the case, I'd be inclined to leave this as a self-standing article. --Tagishsimon (talk) 21:46, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I side with you concerning 'to leave this as a self-standing article'. I think her article should not be merged with her husband's because his article would end up focusing more on her than her husband. Currently, she has more coverage and information than her husband.
