First in Philippine history, case

Philippine photographer Anton Sheker filed on June 5, 2008, a landmark copyright infringement [1] lawsuit (Civil Case no. 08-436) against Manila Bulletin (Ivy Liza Mendoza, Rachel C. Barawid and Editor-in-chief Cris Icban). It allegedly downloaded Internet photos (camera EXIF data) from his personal blog[2] used for a travel feature without his permission.prweb.com, Philippine Photographer Sues Major Daily for Copyright InfringementAbs-Cbn Interactive, Who's got your shot?GMA NEWS.TV, Photog sues Manila Bulletin for copyright infringement--Florentino floro (talk) 12:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, I considered placing a tag on this section : "This article documents a current event. Information may change rapidly as the event progresses, and initial news reports may be unreliable. The latest updates to this article may not reflect the most current information. Feel free to improve this article or discuss changes on the talk page, but please note that updates without valid and reliable references will be removed. Second, I now think I will edit the subtitle to Controversy instead of legal issue. Reason: the hacking scandal involves only an editor and data officer, not MB itself. In Philippine Civil Law, torts and damages is a subsection like Persons and family relations with subsection of marriage annulment, property with subsection of Copyright, trademark, trade name. No case had been filed against the entire Giant News Paper MB. Hence, at present, MB is not a party defendant even if it is liable for torts and omissions of its employees.
Third, at the times I began editing the article, I was faced with current hacking events which metamorphosed. I wrote it in an objective manner leaving no stones upturned. Fourth, my beloved Valenzuela, Metro Manila city, my former hometown, is celebration its 400th foundation, and I desired to contribute in the one year ongoing feasting. Note that I was focused on stars, actors personal drama, starting from Euwenn Mikaell Aleta; next, but first, on Horse-racing especially the Saudi Cup, Triple Crown, the cuisine, railways, etc. But legalese and controversies are not my keen interest here.
Finally, I am editing this subsection, which subsides from current event to encyclopedia. I opt not to take off the salient features, for I remember that reverting scandals may be vandalism. I think I refer to 10 years ago in I not mistaken of deleting a scandal made by the High Office itself, in just hours, Wikipedia undid it and restored the scandal. It is my philosophy not to participate in edit wars. I never touched a revert or edit of my edit by another editor. I focus on positive additions and I will do the best, and let the Presidents do the rest, paraphrasing a Lubao great President. very sincerely yours Valenzuela400 (talk) 11:23, 28 June 2024 (UTC).[reply]
@Valenzuela400 still, there is a tone of newspaper editorial in your contribution. By splitting the section into two disjoined sections, you have compounded the problem. I have reverted it; you should instead condense the subsection into a single paragraph, without editorial tone that may lean to a breach in WP:NEWSPAPER.
