Inspiring Kennedy's West Berlin speech?
FDR's emphatic, repeated use of the phrase "Look to Norway!" to overcome doubt and assert America's role as captain of the free world is really similar to Kennedy's use of "Let them come to Berlin!" twenty years later. The device is the same, and the type of context is near-identical. Did Kennedy's speechwriter (probably Sorensen?) take his cue from Roosevelt's speech? 83.251.164.203 (talk) 00:51, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
