Removed a claim from case studies. It began: One victim shares, "My name is Marianne..."

It was sourced to the same article as the paragraph above it, but failed verification. In fact, it appears to be from a Hub page, a particularly poor source. Richigi (talk) 15:48, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

When did they discover toxicity?

It says they never knew a caterpillar could be venomous until a "large number of mysterious cases appeared" in a region and were traced to the L. obliqua caterpillar: out of pure curiosity, when did this happen? 19th century? Early 20th century? 1980's? Somehow strikes me as relevant information, and interesting that the caterpillar either caused no or few deaths prior to it, or at least none were recorded for whatever reason. Ypiu would think that this sudden epidemic would have some cause, correct? Were the caterpillars migrating or spreading into new, populated territory? Were the people encroaching on territory where the caterpillars lived with little contact before? It just seems odd that they'd go so long without problems, and then suddenly there is an "epidemic" of cases, and the suddenly notice that the caterpillar is deadly.
