- I am sorry you went to the trouble of converting it into a REDIRECT as it is not a duplicate listing. Is is an alternate "lighter" version for those wishing to browse townland names only, with internal alphabetic menu navigation for moving about easily within the list. An alternative "heavier" version is available for those who want more information and who wish to sort townlands within parishes, PLUs, and baronies. Not everyone will want to use the bigger sortable version because of its length. The two lists are different and complementary. Bad Refs
The refs in this article are bad. One is a nonworking database, and the other is a foreign-language database. Us441(talk)(contribs) 15:24, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Both databases work (I just verified them) and the language of the placenames database is not "foreign" to me. In any case, the home page of that database provides the "English Version" option at the top right of the database home page, so it is, in fact, accessible to all English speakers. --O'Dea (talk) 00:37, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
