Date format

Is there a way to format the dates in the table so that it can be toggled to be arranged chronologically? As it is, the toggle arranges the eruptions by day of the month, which is not very helpful. Nareek (talk) 20:09, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

80 kilometer plume height

Did Krakatoa’s plume actually reach that height? what is its source?—The Space Enthusiast (talk) 09:38, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

VEI 3 and 4

The article clearly says it's for VEI 5 or higher eruptions so why are there VEI 3 and VEI 4 eruptions listed? Red Abony (talk) 08:42, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

VEI 3 or 4 eruptions with a plume height of at least 30km can be included Mrmp2402 (talk) 06:10, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I'll leave this up in case other people have the same question. Red Abony (talk) 06:24, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What does "historical" mean here?

What does "historical" mean in the article title? Would it not be better to say "Holocene"? Nurg (talk) 01:27, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

When the article was created it was a list of large eruptions in the last 5,000 years or in recorded history. Back in May it was effectively changed to a list of Holocene eruptions, so either the content needs to change or the title does. It makes more sense to move the article. I see. Thanks. Nurg (talk) 04:33, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
