Why the split?

I'm not seeing the reason to split this off of List of fictional rodents, just as with all the other similar lists that were split off and then merged back, either locally or as the result of deletion discussions. --MuZemike 20:11, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Split to accommodate an increasingly long list, although I've jumped the gun and split a bit early. :D Ncboy2010 (talk)
