As if the Alien vs. Predator movies count as Alien movies...— Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.170.229.94 (talk) 5:47, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

American Pie

American Pie 7 is currently shooting in Vancouver. It has been filming since March 30 and is scheduled to wrap on May 15th. It will go straight-to-DVD later this year. Don't believe me? Check out around the internet, on the IMDB for example. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Happy Evil Dude (talkcontribs) 09:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Mummy

Having "Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy" on there is something of a stretch, don't you think? 204.74.159.12 (talk) 17:49, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Batman

Removing Batman, as this is actually a 4-film series, and a 2-film series (currently), and included on the respective pages. Robsinden (talk) 15:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Film series and spin-off films

Hi. I can see that almost every spin-off films are included in the lists of film series here in the List of feature film series with (number) entries articles. I don't think it's actually correct, as most spin-off films are not a part of the film series, but a separate film in the same franchise as the film series. I guess that if it's a spin-off/sequel hybrid film like Men in Black: International (part of the Men in Black franchise) and Finding Dory (part of the Finding Nemo franchise), it should be included in the lists of film series since it's 50 % spin-off/50 % part of the film series. But if it's a 100 % separate spin-off film that's not a part of the film series like Hobbs & Shaw (part of the Fast & Furious franchise), Lightyear (part of the Toy Story franchise), Planes 1 and 2 (part of the Cars franchise), Lavalantula 1 and 2 (part of the Sharknado franchise), and Minions 1 and 2 (part of the Despicable Me franchise), it should not be included in the lists of film series. So I think we should either remove every 100 % spin-off films from these lists here in these articles or rename the articles where the word series is replaced with the word franchise.
