List is incomplete
There were a total of seven F4 tornadoes in 1950 (the year the official records began) and the months of June through December are missing. The following areas were hit by F4 tornadoes.
- 1. Shreveport, Louisiana on February 12
- 2. Holdenville, Oklahoma on April 28
- 3. Clyde, Texas on April 28
- 4. Great Bend, Kansas on May 4
- 5. McPherson, Kansas on June 8
- 6. Rhinelander, Wisconsin on June 25
- 7. Tekamah, Nebraska on July 15
