First, Chidlovski's website is not official one. Second, there was no any official "Hockey Hall of Fame" in the USSR for sure, and in Russia it seems as well. According to Chidlovski's site: "This is a listing of all players that received the Merited Sports Master (Zasluzhenny Master Sporta or ZMS) which is the top award given to outstanding sports personalities in Russia. By analogy with the biggest honor in professional hockey in Canada, it is often called the "Russian Hall of Fame"." [1] Hence there was no any "official foundation of the Hall of Fame". 1948 (?) is the year when the first ice hockey player was awarded the Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR title. As such the I'll move the article to the new name: "List of Honoured Masters of Sports in ice hockey". Cmapm (talk) 21:40, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
