Needs linking

This list needs to be properly linked. I've been through the first few sections (to end of Biological Sciences), checking each person. Please can you continue. (Care with those middle initials, which may confuse the search.) Earthlyreason (talk) 06:59, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deceased asterisks

We should probably remove the asterisks after many names, which signify 'deceased' on the source material[1]. But they are a bit helpful, for now anyway. Earthlyreason (talk) 06:59, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the asterisk from Paul Garabedian's name. I can find no evidence that he is deceased! Plclark (talk) 10:14, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Deletion

On 26 June 2013 an un-named editor at 71.139.156.221 proposed this article for deletion. The reason cited was "Absolutely no evidence of notability". This seems to me to be odd: plenty of the people mentioned in the article are notable, and the set of Harvard Junior Fellows is a notable subset of the human species. Although I don't particularly care for articles that seem to be little more than lists - perhaps a "category" would be better - it's clear from inspection of the edit history that several different editors have worked on this article, and presumably think it a useful contribution to Wikipedia. I'm also uncomfortable that an anonymous and (so far) single-purpose editor has chosen to propose to delete other people's work using a mechanism that avoids debate on the subject. I am therefore removing the "proposed deletion" tag. If anyone feels that this article should be deleted for other reasons I suggest that this be proposed and handled through the normal normal deletion review process (AfD) process. I hope this is OK. Omitted Junior Fellow

Tuomas J. Lukka is omitted. He is on the list at Harvard. 2601:89:C701:3D00:FDEF:691:DD3D:41FE (talk) 18:22, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
