In the summary for series 2 episode 1, the parade is said to happen on the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, but that would have been 14 October 1966. The episode takes place in the spring or 1966, so the parade must have commemorated something else's 900th anniversary. Anyone have ideas as to what?

  • I can't think of anything. The episode takes place in the second week of May, nowhere near the anniversary of Battle of Hastings. Angengea (talk) 00:15, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

he was ...what?

This from Lazaretto summary: "As Morse starts trawling back through the victims of Bed 10, he discovers that Mr. Zacharides was." Can we know what Zacharides was...? Thanks to anyone who sleuths this dangling sentence. Manytexts (talk) 09:34, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think the answer is he "was murdered." Angengea (talk) 22:09, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Possible WP:COPYVIO with Fandom.com

The episode descriptions at inspectormorse.fandom.com are identical to those here, and neither credits the other. (For example, see their page for Overture.) Is this a WP:COPYVIO, and if so, by whom? jlwoodwa (talk) 04:01, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ronan Point

Episode 27 (6:4) in part revolves around the partial collapse of a block of flats. Is it just me or was Ronan Point the inspiration for this? Indeed, some of the long shots look very much like Ronan Point, so close that they might be reprocessed copies. No WP:RS, just observation and curiosity.
