Toxoplasmosis

It's common EVERYWHERE in the world. There are cats everywhere, soil is full of toxoplasma gondii, and vegetables and meat are mostly contaminated. The only way to avoid toxoplasmosis is to wash carefully fruit and vegetables before eating them, and avoid raw meat or almost raw meat. Also, crossed contamination (inside the fridge, because meat's blood can contaminate vegetables washed before) is easy to avoid. Unsourced speculation

Regarding the press's constant use of MSSA rather than MRSA.

It is not clear why this extended form of the name was repeatedly used - whether due to poor understanding, or a play on words instigated by Ash to further her case.

I've removed this again. it's not encyclopaedic, it's also suggestive of possible motives by Ash for the papers to get it wrong (let's face it, it's hardly suprising if they do anyway), and there's no sourced evidence for this speculation. Ormondroyd (talk) 12:19, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
