It seems to me that the article should tell me something about his early life other than his first football game and where he was born.

So far the article chronicles his box score results, but it does not pass a breadth requirement for WP:GA. If the rest of the article were not so high caliber, I would quickfail for the reasons listed. • I am having a bit of trouble with WP:V in terms of most of the http://www.soccerfactsuk.co.uk/. • In general, I prefer to WP:PRESERVE content. However, in this case, I feel the article suffers from WP:PROSELINE that borders on WP:FANCRUFT. I don't think WP wants a log of every goal scored by this guy. Can this be slimmed down to chronicle important goals, important games and significant statistical accomplishments.
