I apologie, I misread the French Republican Calendar tables I was using. 2 August 1800 is correct. Suffice it to say that when one clicks on VIII below a table solely devoted to Thermidor, one rather presumes the chart that appears in the same position on his screen is, in fact, Thermidor, An VIII.
