Lalitha โ†’ Lalita โ€“ Please move this page Lalita is more widely used than Lalitha. "Lalitha" is only used in the southern part of India, though the pronunciation is same (Lalita). .๐Ÿ’ 245CMR๐Ÿ’ .โ€ข๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ“œ 07:21, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Contrary to the assertion that Lalita is more common, the enwiki articles with the title are about 50/50, so there's no reason to change the status quo, noting that Lalita redirects here. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:55, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. They are about 50/50, but there's a slight edge to Lalita. -- JHunterJ (talk) 15:08, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. There are substantially more subjects in this encyclopedia named "Lalita" over "Lalitha"; as this is a disambiguation page, not a substantive anthroponymic article on the name, we should go with the title best reflecting uses within the project. BD2412 T 07:43, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. There are frequently two or more common transliterations of Sanskrit or Hindi words into English. In general, the shorter rendering is used more frequently by English speakers, because pronouncing it using common English rules ends up closer to the native pronunciation. The longer alternate, used more by Hindi speakers, is likely to be mispronounced by those not familiar with the rules of transliteration. This being English Wikipedia ... @Skyerise:,@BD2412:, @JHunterJ: Please move this page, I have some technical issues. .๐Ÿ’ 245CMR๐Ÿ’ .โ€ข๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ“œ 04:32, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The page should be moved by someone uninvolved in the discussion. As there now appears to be a clear consensus, it shouldn't be much longer. BD2412 T 04:41, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lalita โ†’ Lalita (disambiguation) โ€“ Please move this page as Lalita should be redirected to Tripura Sundari, because of the following reasons:

  • Lalita is a very important name of the goddess, even the texts related to her are starts with Lalita.
  • Lalita is popularly used to addressed Tripura Sundari, search "Lalita" on google and it will show the goddess only.
  • Most of the other topics are named the goddess.
  • Tripura Sundari gets far more page veiws. .๐Ÿ’ 245CMR๐Ÿ’ .โ€ข๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ“œ 03:46, 22 January 2021 (UTC) โ€”Relisting.ย โ€”Nnadigoodluckโ–ˆโ–ˆโ–ˆ 10:51, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Whilst I don't agree with every aspect of the nomination, it does appear from massviews [1] that Tripura Sundari is the most popular link on the page, and, if we exclude given name holders, more popular than the other links combined, which meets the usage argument of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:20, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The dab page got 186 views in November [2], but there were only 22 clicks through to Tripura Sundari (according to the clickstream data). It is true that no other linked article got more than that (none, in fact, got more than 10 hits, which is the threshold for inclusion in the dataset), but still, 12% of traffic is very far below what you would expect for a primary topic. โ€“ Uanfala (talk) 18:25, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Uanfala's convincing analysis. (t ยท c) buidhe 00:18, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per the above. The importance of the subject is one element of a test for primacy, but what readers are searching for is another rather significant one. BD2412 T 05:13, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
