Improvements and additions to the article
Hi, my name is Alessia and I'm a student of the University of Bergamo (Italy) master course Planning and Management of tourism systems. As a given assignment, I need to give my contribution to some articles related to territory and heritage Wikipedia:GLAM/UNIBG/Heritage studies and ICT. I've decided to contribute to the wikipedia article of Lago del Barbellino by adding new information, pictures and sources. Before my intervention, the article provided little information ( three sentences) and the template: infobox lake. I added an overall picture of the lake at the beginning of the article.
TEMPLATE: INFOBOX LAKE I've added more information on the template: infobox lake concerning the sizes of the lake, I've also changed the picture.
DENOMINATION I've added this paragraph to explain that the name of the lake was taken from the name of the surrounding mountains which used to be called "Mount Barbellino".
GEOGRAPHY I've added this paragraph explaining where the lake is located and among which mountains it lies, uploaded a picture of the summits. I've added the subparagraph "features" related to the lake.
HYDROGRAPHY I've created this paragraph to explain the different tributaries which flow into the lake. Also, I've added a picture taken by me concerning Serio stream, one of the most relevant tributaries.
GEOLOGY I've added this paragraph providing information about the glacial basin.
MORPHOLOGY I've created this paragraph talking about the soil. Added a picture taken by me representing the shore of the lake.
CLIMATE I've created this paragraph concerning the type of climate in the area of the lake and the temperatures along the year.
TEMPLATE: INFOBOX DAM/SANDBOX This template didn't exist before. I've created it adding a picture of the dam and information. I've also contributed to Openstreetmap adding the locationing of the dam. In the section "wikidata item", I've added the coordinates of the dam on OpenStreetMap.
DAM This section already existed. I've added new information about the realization of the dam dividing the paragraph into several subparagraphs as "The Hydroelectric system", "The Barbellino reservoir", "The creation of the tam". I've added two old pictures, one of the wide valley of Barbellino before the building of the dam, and another one representing the construction of the dam in its final phase.
REFERENCES I've added this paragraph which didn't exist before.
