This article has a good start and can be even better. See: Akashi-Kaikyō Bridge as an example. Enfermero (talk) 20:49, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article name should not be hyphenated

There shouldn't be a hyphen in the article / bridge name, as "Kurushima Kaikyō" refers to the single geographical feature that the bridge crosses (see, e.g., the Japanese-space article on Kurushima Kaikyō: 来島海峡). "Kaikyō" translates to "strait", so "Kurushima Kaikyō" just means "Kurushima Strait" (noting that "Kurushima Kaikyō" is typically referred to in English as "Strait of Kurushima"). Typically, a hyphen is only inserted when indicating that the bridge name refers to the two distinct geographical places that the bridge connects. If there are no objections, I'll move the page at a later time. -SesameballTalk 09:33, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Clearance below

Can someone add the clearance below = maximum height between sea level and bridge deck?

That's important for such a sea strait crossing bridge.

Compare with other bridges of the Honshū–Shikoku Bridge Project (connecting Honshū and Shikoku, crossing the Seto Inland Sea) : Minami Bisan-Seto Bridge 93m, Akashi Kaikyo 65m.
