The result of the move request was: not moved. Hariboneagle927 makes a good point. No prejudice against a new RM after the trial(s). Jenks24 (talk) 06:39, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
Kidnapping and killing of Jee Ick-Joo → Kidnapping and murder of Jee Ick-Joo – WP:Commonname. The common name for these incidents seem to be "Kidnapping and murder of..." such as Kidnapping and murder of Yaron Chen and Kidnapping and murder of Moisés Sánchez Cerezo. It has been established that this was not some random killing and he was murdered premeditatedly due to a suspected crime. Shhhhwwww!! (talk) 16:42, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose although casual conversation, "murder" and "killing" are interchangeable. The two words have different meaning in legally. Murder has potential nonNPOV issues. I suggest waiting for convictions of Jje's killers before renaming the article to the proposed title. "killing" does not suggest that the crime was random or not premeditated and the current title is neutral and does not take sides either with Supporters of Jee or the accused police officers.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 23:27, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
