Karen in Kenya is named after Karen Holmquist a cousin of Karen Blixen.Her father was chairman of The Kenya Coffee Company.
Lang'ata
The name of this suburb is misspelled several times as "Langata" ("ng'" and "ng" are different sounds in Swahili, like the difference between "singer" and "finger" in English).
