KA-BARKa-bar – Old magazine ads mostly say "Ka-bar"; marine books say "Ka-Bar" and "ka bar". "Ka-bar" seems like a good choice, no? Dicklyon (talk) 05:31, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Probable vandalism

The first sentence of the history section:

The owner of the KA-BAR trademark, the Union Cutlery Co. of Olean, New York, began using the name on its knives and in its advertising in 1923[5] after receiving a testimonial letter by a Keith Fusion, who used the knife to kill a wounded bear after the Ka bar was bit in half.

looks suspicious. Edits by 146.130.64.165 in October 2012 appear to be vandalism, only partially reverted by 173.26.15.82. Someone more knowledgeable than me on the subject might care to verify and/or fix. 203.176.108.99 (talk) 23:13, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Good catch. Fixed; at least that sentence. Dicklyon (talk) 00:20, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Better image of service?

In the section Ka-Bar#Service, the image shows a Marine working with his bayonet, not his Ka-Bar. Note there is no fuller on the tool in his hand, and his Ka-Bar is in its sheath on his belt. Recommend changing to another image showing the use of a Ka-Bar. — Brianhe (talk) 16:51, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
