Correction and a few sourced details to add

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.

On behalf of Shore Capital Partners, Justin Ishbia's private equity firm, I'm making this request to see if editors can fix an inaccuracy and potentially add some other relevant details to this article. As a Shore employee, I have a financial conflict of interest and I should not edit the article, which is why I'm making this request.

My first requested edit is a quick correction: The birth year details in the first sentence are incorrectly given as 1979/80. Per the Forbes profile cited, Ishbia is 45. His birth year is 1977. Can this be fixed?

The agreed purchase of the Phoenix Suns is included in the article, but Ishbia's role as Alternate Governor of the Phoenix Suns is not yet mentioned. Can editors add a sentence such as: "The deal includes Ishbia taking on the role of Alternate Governor for the Suns.^[1]"

In addition to the Suns, Ishbia is a minority owner of the Nashville Major League Soccer team, Nashville SC. Can this be added to the article?: "He is a minority owner of Nashville SC, Nashville's Major League Soccer team.^[2]"

Ishbia has made several high profile charitable donations in the last few years. Can a mention of these be added to the Wikipedia article: "In October 2021, Ishbia donated $10 million to his alma mater, Vanderbilt Law School. He had earlier established a scholarship fund at the school through a donation he made in 2015.^[3] In January 2022, Ishbia matched his brother Mat Ishbia's $1 million donation to Dick Vitale's charitable foundation supporting cancer research.^[4]"

An update: an editor has added the mention of his alternate governor role to the article, so editors can ignore that part of my request above. The edits I'm still looking for help with are: fixing the birth year, adding the soccer team mention, and adding the philanthropy details.

I added the info requested although we would need a source stating what year he was born. At the moment, his birth year is feeding off the age provided in the article based on the date of the article (as of 4/4/2022, he was 45). Unless you have a source for his exact birth date, his age will only be approximate.Patapsco913 (talk) 22:58, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help with this. I don't have a source for his exact birthdate, so I understand that for now it has to be approximate. From my perspective, this is complete and I will mark the template accordingly so that there is no confusion.
