Out of date?

I've been a Juno user since the 1990s and much of this article is out of date. Juno no longer provides free E-mail service except via Web on the http://webmail.juno.com page. For $10/year you can use the old proprietary offline Juno mailer as discussed, or MSOE, Eudora, Thunderbird or other POP3 standard mailers. The mail servers still serve the proprietary mailer, but new users by default use whatever standard mailer is already set up on their computer, usually MSOE.

The spam blocker in Version 5 of the Juno mailer is indeed ineffective, and no third party spam filters are made for any version. However, the servers filter spam, and when some gets through, users can forward it to a spamdesk to improve the filtering. Users of POP3 standard mailers can use whatever spam filters they install.

New to Wiki, I don't know how to revise an article according to Wiki style standards but I spotted this one and it just cried out for an improvement. Complaints

• I second that, Wikipedia is not a forum. It is not a complaint database. The article as a whole violates WP:NPOV, many parts of the article are written like an anti Juno advertisement. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (talk) 00:50, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
