Public Hospital = Public Domain

Since the hospital is public there cannot be any violations; it is a public not-for-profit entity hence public domain/fair use applies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnimeMagic2112 (talkcontribs) 19:26, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notes

This is/was a real hospital, not a fictional one. (The hospital in ER may have been based on Cook County.)

The hospital in ER was based upon the old CCH. I threw in a reference to Season 15, episode 16 (aired Feb 19, 2009) to the address on a package delivered to the fictitious hospital--1835 West Harrison. This is the address to the old CCH medical department used in medical journal references and by individual doctors at the hospital. The 1901 address cited in the article is the general address. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.6.229 (talk) 04:01, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

makes no sense

This sentence as it is written:

In 1986, Agnes D. Lattimer was appointed medical director of Cook County Hospital, making the hospital in loving memory of him the first African American woman medical director of a major American hospital.[5]

........makes absolutely no sense. "Making the hospital in loving memory of him the first African American woman medical director".....hopefully you can see the problem.

Yeah, that creeped in as part of a bad edit last September. Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out. oknazevad (talk) 15:21, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
